Chiara Poletto is a researcher at INSERM (French National Institute of Health and Medical Research) in Paris. She also worked at the Computational Epidemiology Laboratory, ISI Foundation, Torino (Italy). Her research interests include emerging pathogens and disease ecology. She applies network physics and complex system approaches to reach a theoretical understanding of the interplay between human behaviour and infection propagation, using data-driven computational models.

Pere Colet

Pere Colet is a Full Professor at the Spanish National Research Council working at the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems IFISC (Spain). He is also an associate professor at the University of the Balearic Islands. He was a Fulbright postdoctoral fellow at School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include stochastic processes, non-linear dynamics, synchronization, pattern formation, noise-sustained structures, dynamics of localized structures, coupled systems with multiple delays, human mobility, socio-technical systems.

Piotr Fronczak
